1. I chose this picture as it depicts the city of Bristol, which is where I am from, this particular area was my favorite. At night time it is lit up as is shown here and on days like this the lights reflect off the round creating a brightly colored landscape.
2. I chose this picture as it is my favorite album, The Rolling Stones - Goats Head Soup. I feel that I should have this in my list of self portrait pictures as music is a huge part of me and my interests.
3. This picture is a good example of Street Photography, which is something that I find hugely interesting and have done lots of work and projects based around this subject. This picture in particular manages to combine graphic design as well as a good example of natural realist scenes.
4. This is a shot from The Shining which is one of my favorite films largely down to the aesthetically pleasing cinematography. This scene in particular is a favorite of mine as the highly constructed set and colour palliate really adds to the scene and furthers the suspense throughout.
5. Finally I chose this photo, I in fact took this shot for my A Level photography project. It is a barbers that I went to from a young age, I was particularly inspired by the scene from The Shining to take this shot, as well as the natural real setting such as the wires, the messy bottles and hair around the bottom of the mans chair.
